The Follower

After a lifetime of cutthroat dealing with no remorse, theatrical agent Jim Beecher cannot understand his fear of something dogging his footsteps. No one else hears the steps. With a psychiatrist's help, Beecher realizes whatever is following him is rooted in what's left of his conscience—an old lover whose death he caused.
