The Headless Hessian

During the American Revolution near Trenton, Private Caldwell sneaks past enemy lines nightly wearing an overcoat to meet his girlfriend Peggy. Washington's troops mistake him for a ghostly headless Hessian soldier. After Caldwell's capture, Washington exploits the fear to strategically distract Hessian forces during the American attack on Trenton.
